Important!

mLegitymacja may be applied for by students who:

• have the status of an active student,
• have a PESEL number
• have a hologram valid until October 31, 2024
• personal data has not been changed in the eDean’s Office system since the issuance of the plastic Electronic Student ID.

To activate mLegitymacja on the phone:

• create and confirm a Trusted Profile – https://www.gov.pl/web/gov/zaloz-profil-zaufany
• download and install the mObywatel application on the phone – https://www.gov.pl/web/mobywatel/pobierz-aplikacje1

Regarding foreigners:

If you are a foreigner who lives in Poland, you can register your place of residence – then you will get a PESEL automatically. If you are unable to register and an office requires a PESEL number from you – you should submit an application.
